# Stay on top of alerts and renewal reminders

> Use the Notifications page to review protocol renewal reminders, restock alerts, order updates, and other practice activity — all in one place.

AnyScript sends you notifications when something in your practice needs attention — a protocol that's due for renewal, a product that's back in stock, an order that's been processed, or a new client that's been added. Rather than checking multiple sections of the app, the Notifications page brings all of this activity into a single, filterable list so nothing falls through the cracks.

## Navigating to Notifications

In the left sidebar, go to **Practice → Notifications**. The page header shows how many unread notifications you have, or confirms you're all caught up if there are none.

You can also access your most recent notifications from anywhere in the app by clicking the **bell icon** in the top navigation bar. The bell shows a count badge when you have unread items, and clicking it opens a dropdown with your five most recent notifications. Click **View all notifications** in the dropdown to open the full Notifications page.

## Filtering notifications

The notifications list is organized into tabs that let you focus on what's relevant:

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="All">
    Every notification across all categories, grouped by date.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Unread">
    Only notifications you haven't read yet. The tab shows a count badge when there are unread items.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Orders">
    Notifications related to orders, payments, and commission — including order processed, script paid, and commission earned.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Protocols">
    Notifications related to your protocols — renewal reminders and restock alerts for scripted or favorited products.
  </Card>

  <Card title="System">
    Platform-level notifications such as new client additions and product catalog syncs.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

## Notification types

### Protocol renewal reminders

When a protocol's renewal status changes, AnyScript notifies you so you can follow up with the client before the protocol lapses.

* **Due Soon** — the protocol's renewal date is approaching. Act now to review and renew.
* **Overdue** — the protocol's renewal date has passed without a renewal.

Multiple renewal updates for the same protocol are grouped into a single row, showing the most recent status and a count of how many updates occurred. This keeps the list clean when a protocol cycles through several states.

<Tip>
  Click a renewal notification to go directly to the relevant protocol, where you can review the products and issue a renewal.
</Tip>

### Restock alerts

If a product you've scripted or favorited was out of stock, AnyScript notifies you when it becomes available again so you can update affected protocols or prompt clients to re-order.

### Order notifications

You receive notifications when orders move through key stages:

* Order submitted, processed, shipped, approved, or rejected
* Script paid (a client completes payment on a scripted order)
* Commission earned

Click an order notification to go to your Orders page.

### Other notifications

* **Client added** — a new client has been added to your account. Click the notification to open their client profile.
* **Products synced** — the product catalog has been updated.

## Marking notifications as read

Unread notifications appear with a blue dot on the right side of the row and slightly bolder text.

* **Mark a single notification as read** — click anywhere on the notification row. It is marked as read automatically when you open it.
* **Mark all as read** — click **Mark all read** in the top-right corner of the page. This button appears only when you have unread notifications.

<Note>
  Notifications are grouped by date — Today, Yesterday, and then specific dates for older items. Within each date group, renewal notifications for the same protocol are collapsed into one row showing the count of updates.
